1. BEFORE USING HERBAL HAIR DYE

The colour results from LOGONA herbal hair dyes depend on your starting hair colour. To ensure that
this shade matches the desired colour, we recommend dyeing a test strand of hair before use.
NOTE: Herbal hair dyes only develop their full colour brilliance after around 48 hours, and brown
and black shades in particular darken further during this period. Note the colour recom- mendation
in the application table.
IMPORTANT TOOLS
To colour your hair with LOGONA herbal hair dyes, you will need in addition to the packaging
contents: Boiling water, an old towel, a dish and a dye brush to mix the herbal hair dye.

2. PREPARING THE HAIR
For the best possible transfer of dye, we recommend removing all residue from the hair.
To do this, wash your hair with a silicone-free, natural cosmetic shampoo. All liquid LOGONA
shampoos are ideal for this. For residue-free, deep cleaning, we recommend the LOGONA Mineral clay
pre-treatment. This rids the hair even more effectively of stubborn dandruff and product residues.

3. MIXING THE HERBAL HAIR DYE
Pour the herbat hair dye powder into a dish. For shoulder-length hair, use both pouches. For very
short hair or to dye roots, one pouch is sufficient. Boil 300 ml of water for two pouches. Add the
boiling-hot water slowly and carefully to the powder while stirring constantly so that you end up
with a smooth mixture. If the dye has a smooth, slightly thick consistency, then it is ideal for
dyeing.

Tip: The powder mixture gets slightly thicker with time. If this is the case, you can gradually add
a little hot water to the herbal hair dye.
4. APPLYING THE HERBAL HAIR DYE
Put on the gloves provided. Drape an old towel around your shoulders.
Apply the herbal hair dye strand by strand while warm, but not hot, to freshly washed hair. Take
care to ensure that atl of the hair is covered with the dye. Then remove any dye residue from the
skin. Cover the hair with the heat bon- net included and wrap a towel around your head.
Tip: The addition of more heat (e.g. through sunlight or a drying bonnet) inten- sifies the dyeing
process.
